Sharing Hope

Hello friends!

Have you ever needed hope? I know I have. This past year I have needed hope more than ever before! There were so many unknowns, and through it all I am so thankful to have hope in Jesus Christ!

No one in this world lives without pain and suffering in one way or another! There are times when it seems as though there is no way to escape it. Some suffer with physical pain and illness, and some have inner struggles and pain.

At times the troubles around us can be overwhelming, leading to anxiety, depression, suicide, and hopelessness. There are many different ways that people try to cope with their pain. But trying to cope doesn’t work very long.

But here is good news: there is HOPE! Hope in the Word of God is defined as: anticipation (usually with pleasure,) expectation, or confidence. What do we have to anticipate? What do we expect? What do we put our confidence in?

Jesus! Have you put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ? As a Christian, I believe that Jesus, the Son of God, lived a sinless life, died to pay for the sin of the world, and then rose again three days later, defeating death! My hope is Jesus! One day, He will come again, and that is what I expect and anticipate! I have complete confidence that Jesus will come again because I know that God’s Word is true.

Do you have hope? Have you received the gift of salvation? If not, then today can be the day that you do that. And if you do have the hope of Jesus Christ, and eternal life, then I challenge you to share that hope today!

Do you have hope? Let me know in the comments!
